The Traditional Italian Coffee history
Establishment 1949
The history of a family and a city have been inextricably linked when the Counts of Caballini di Sassoferrato acquired Dersut Caffè of Conegliano, Treviso, a small coffee roasting business founded just two years earlier.
The Triveneto Italian Coffee Association 1954
In that period, the regions of Veneto, Trentino Alto Adige and Friuli-Venezia Giulia became reference areas for Italian Coffee Association. The Triveneto Italian Coffee Association, of which Dersut was a founder member, was set up in 1954, it's still active today and since 2015 has opened to the whole of Italy.
Dersut coffee shop 2002
The first Dersut coffee shop opened in 2002. From that, the next few years saw the launch of other single-brand coffee shops: Italiana Caffè and Giornale&Caffè.
Consortium for the Safeguard of Traditional Italian Espresso Coffee 2014
The Consortium for the protection of Italian Traditional Espresso Coffee was born on 15 September 2014. Its main purposes are promoting, developing and protecting the Italian Traditional Espresso Coffee among the coffee workers and consumers through the request to the Unesco in order to obtain the recognition as Intangible Heritage of Humanity.
Rebranding 2019
Visual communication embodies shape and function, is the integration between what is beautiful and what is useful. So the new logo represents figuratively the core and entrepreneurship of the company. Simple, essential and distinctive.
Dersut coffee shop restyling 2021
The pioneering model has relaunched, facing a strategic development to promote the right mood of Made in Italy and to meet new challenges and opportunities, growing within the European Market and over.
Rite of espresso coffee 2022
The Count Giorgio Caballini of Sassoferrato, as the President of Traditional Italian Espresso Coffee Association, supports the so called "Espresso ritual" as a Unesco World Heritage. The "Espresso ritual" represents for Dersut and for all Italy a significant and democrate gesture to enhance, a 100-year history to promote and a journey into the roots of culture of Italian Espresso Coffee.
